Our Mission is Cultivating Connections that Benefit the Environment, Farmers and Consumers through Agroecology

Over 50 Panamanian farmers are ready to work with the Mandela team and build an equitable & ecological food system in Panama.

Leveraging 30 years of experience providing agroecology training to small-scale farmers in Panama, Mandela is ready to provide agroecology training funded by a digital farmers market and other income streams that generate profits for the farmers and the business. But first we need angel lenders to help with start-up funds. The first five have already stepped up. Who’s next?

Mandela provides farmers a comprehensive package of:

through farmer field schools and individualized on-farm technical assistance

Digital Farmers Market

where famers can sell directly to consumers with support from Mandela's farm advisors

Tools, seed & equipment

that farmers can finance over time through a portion of digital farmers market sales

Agrotourism

to host educational and volunteer activities on agroecology farms with support from Mandela
